Pine Cone
Pine Cone
I learned something about pine cones while making this card…
On a dry and cold day I found this open pine cone in my back yard, took photos, made a drawing, and then threw it back out in the yard, The next day was rainy and I couldn’t find the same pine cone because it had closed up along with the many other pine cones in my back yard. Such is the life of a pine cone opening and closing in response to the weather. Now I know.
